Jamaicans celebrate Christmas like no other holidays. This is the time of year when people do all the extra stuff; from cleaning the house from top to bottom, decorate with 'peppa lights' and balloons (and now, more so, with Christmas tree), taking out all the never-used crockery from the cabinet (watnot, breakfront or buffet) to be cleaned and put back, and don't forget putting their cooking skills on display.
With feeling the "Christmas breeze", what are some of your favourite traditional dinner menus and recipes? There are some basics but you might have a different twist and how to prepare your dish/drink or may opt to a more healthy way of cooking. Please share some of yours with the community.
